A Brief History of Our Team
Getting a head start from the North Adams-Jerome Team
Thanks to the North Adams-Jerome Robotics Team, Camden-Frontier students were given an opportunity of a lifetime. With the goal of expanding robotics in Hillsdale County, the NAJ robotics team wrote and received a grant from the Hillsdale County Community Foundation, of the grant we received $6,000 to help start up our robotics team.
To promote enthusiasm and encourage students to join the Camden-Frontier robotics team, the North Adams-Jerome team visited our school to demonstrate their robot at a school-wide assembly. It was a huge success, and we held our first robotics meeting the next day to learn as much as we could in preparation for the 2015 FIRST® Robotics Competition.

Presentation to C-F Board of Education
Five members of the Gear Grinders gathered on November 17, 2014, to present information about their robotics team to the Camden-Frontier Board of Education. The presentation included a Prezi, made by freshmen Jared Collins, discussing background information about FIRST® Robotics. Next, through a PowerPoint presentation, students provided information about their robotics team, potential grant opportunities, receipt of a grant for a 3D printer, and future competition dates.
